Dear Mister Pope Benedict XVI,

From what I understand, you will come and visit us here in Quebec City, Canada, during the International Eucharistic Congress of 2008. I thought I might give you a few sightseeing suggestions, so you would know what to do, during your spare time in our beautiful city!

Château Frontenac

First of all, I would suggest visiting the Château Frontenac. While you were there, you could invite all the Canadian Bishops to join you for dinner, and afterward, over a good glass of wine, you could get them to rescind the Winnipeg Statement. (As you know, in 1968, the Canadian Bishops pretty well cut themselves off from the Holy See, which has caused enormous harm to the Catholic Church in Canada.)

Assemblée Nationale

Secondly, you could visit the National Assembly. Some people might object to you, a religious leader, visiting the center of political power in Quebec. So you could just say you're sorry. While you were into apologies and politics, you could also excuse yourself to all Canadians in the name of all the Bishops who have let us down. After all, the main reason we are stuck with abortion, divorce, and sodomy in this country is because of the Bloody Trio: Trudeau, Chrétien and Martin. Those three Prime Ministers of Canada always claimed they were Catholics, while shoving the Culture of Death down our throats, and the Church's hierarchy here in Canada let them get away with it.

After such a nice bit of sightseeing, you could take the weekend off, maybe play a round of golf with Cardinal Marc Ouellet, then fly back to Rome!

See you in 2008!
