You're looking for a Christmas gift for someone? For roughly twenty dollars, you can offer them a lovely little book which explains the beautiful official teachings of the Catholic Church! (They are beautiful, since Jesus told the first Pope and the first Bishops: "Those who hear you, hear Me; those who reject you, reject Me" [Lc 10:16].)
The Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church is about 120 pages long, as opposed to the approximately 700 page more official Catechism of the Catholic Church. This shorter version is probably better for younger (or more impatient!) persons.
