Suggestion of Fr. Jacques Olivier (2005-juin-20):
1) Draft up a Charter, and a draft Code of ethics, and also a document on the selection criteria for sites (by whom, using what criteria: adoption of the Charter and Code, with additionally a minimum number of visits per day, alone or as a group of web sites, etc.
2) Submit these documents to, say, a dozen or fifteen interested webmasters, who will be able to give their comments to improve the said documents.
3) Submit the said corrected documents, and in a final version to one or other authority, for example a Sacred Congregation at the Vatican (Faith? Catholic Education and Seminaries?), or a few Cardinals and Bishops, so they could give their placet and support.
4) Deploy the project on the web, using the original dozen webmasters, who will forward to their acquaintances, and those acquaintances to more, etc.
5) If it doesn't work, or doesn't have the expected "snowball effect", we'll see...
